A gelato made us miss the last train out of Siena today.So we are in smelly bike clothes at a hotel.  But it's hard to be distressed about either having that fabulous gelato or spending the night here in Siena.  Or riding through the wineries and gorgeous hill country of Chianti again tomorrow. Some things work out best when they don't work out right.
